Subject: Putting People First!
Thank you for your email below.

There four issues of particular interest to Eastbourne, (some of particular interest to older people and those whose job it is to take good care of them). I also believe that countless people in Gt. Britain’s towns and cities are aiming to become Carbon Neutral in their homes and offices.

Firstly , I’d like to explain that when I’m in my mountain farm house (at approx 3000 ft) in Gstaad Switzerland I pay 69 SwFrs (approx £37) for my broadband and I get a download speed of 15000 kilobits (15Mb) per second and upload speed of 1000kbps- (see offer for 10Mb from BT below) and what is more all my calls within Switzerland are free & foreign calls are charged at half price. Also when I leave Switzerland I pay a small disconnect and reconnect fee – (not 69SwFrs per month). Swisscom is Government owned.

Please compare this to the treatment of 21 million customers of BT and all other UK ISPs who require a 12 or 18 month contract with out the chance to disconnect for a small fee. They all make promises that none of them have any means of keeping due to 19th Century BT wire lines and out dated street side Green boxes. Some offer free calls but only in non business hours. That’s why in the UK I tend to use VoIP VOICE OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL. Many of the ISP’s, offer up to 8Mb but when if you ask them to be specific they tell the truth that the maximum is 5Mb. Download and 470kbps upload. Euphony is another option so I pay £5.99 monthly I get UK and Foreign landline calls free. Call divert is also free when I travel.

I am told that the Government is trying to make eregious amounts of money selling radio spectrum. The only winner will be HM Treasury which is definitely not in the Public Interest. What is in the interest of the people of Gt. Britain is Fibre To The Home. (FTTH already available in Japan and South Korea)

FTTH should be sponsored by HM Treasury as it would definitely reduce the cost of Government.

Secondly, I would gladly invite you to see, in action, the Product I mentioned before called LIFE STREAM at the Eastbourne District or Brighton General NHS Hospitals. This is of enormous interest to Cardiac Surgeons everywhere (the US, Switzerland, and India just for a start) and I am glad to say that we are now being supported by CSC Computer Science Corporation with 80,000 people around the world. Their EMEA Headquarters are at Royal Pavilion Aldershot which you should see.

Thirdly, the latest is a product to be called Life Style incorporating Visual Nexus Plus which can dramatically change the way all of us choose to work. In fact, I used it to meet HM Treasury IT experts without having to endure about 18 hours of travel to get to Whitehall from Gstaad Switzerland for a 45 minute meeting. Having been a member of PITCOM for more than 10 years the saving of MP’s wasted time and taxpayers’ money is increasingly obvious and I would be glad to demonstrate this from my home in Eastbourne and your constituency offices. I believe you will find this vastly more efficient and far less costly than Polycom or Tandberg.

Fourthly, Home Hospitals and Care Homes. Increasingly with an ageing population the cost of bed blocking and care homes for the elderly will become an appalling drain on the taxpaying segment of working people. Shortly I will return to the UK and I hope you will meet with me and Lanre Madarikan General Manager of Eastbourne BT Local Business to show you what is already in place. (Using Visual Nexus Plus)

In 1991/2 , at the request of the then Chairman of the Party, my team worked alongside the IT Manager of Conservative Central Office and later as you will see a Seven Seas Partner (Andrew Hardie) worked for Labour. I mention this to assure you that Future Proof Telephony is not politically biased.

Future Proof Telephony puts People First

Your offer to help is much appreciated.
