Dear David Cameron
I just heard your promise to cut costs.
For the 1991 election David Mappin Offshore Management was given the task by the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party under Margaret Thatcher of cutting waste particularly in Marginal Constituencies which we found was simply amazing. Just one example was piles of unopened letters mailed by CCO to those Constituencies. For example, the cost of MP’s coming just to been seen at Prime Ministers question time and the dearth of MP’s in the Chamber at other times is all too obvious as quite unnecessary in a world of having to meet the Future and Change.
It would take no more that 18 minutes maximum for each MP and his Constituency Office to set up Visual Nexus Plus and then to see each other (High Definition) where ever they happen to be. This suggestion originally went to Francis Maude and some two years ago but the determination to CHANGE and to REDUCE the cost of Government had not then been recognized as essential.
Future Proof Telephony means that BT has to change completely to survive!
